Kris Drever is a talented guitarist and singer from the Orkney Islands whose debut solo album Black Water won him the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2007. He has toured extensively with Lau who received the Best Group Award three years running. Kris's much anticipated second album Mark the Hard Earth was released in March 2010.
